About Me
My name is Deb, and I'm interested in helping you understand your over 40 skincare needs. I turned 40 last year, and just like you, I found that my skin started changing just a few short years ago. In my 30's I decided to go to school to become an Esthetician. I'm now a Licensed Skin Care Specialist. While in school, I noticed the students in my class ranged from young to old. More than half were in their 30's, 40's and 50's. Why the sudden interest? As our skin changes, suddenly we're more aware of what we've taken for granted! The urgency sets in when you see that your body is aging, and your face goes right along with it! I'm passionate about skincare, and I also love to write. One thing I find when I'm reading some sites on skin care is that they use so much technical jargon. That can be frustrating for people who aren't familiar with certain terminology. I want to read AND understand what I'm reading. I want you to understand what you're reading here! I've written a book that takes that very concept for Esthetician students who are still in school. It's a great supplement to their textbook, and breaks down difficult ideas, making them easy to understand.
My passion for skincare continues! I also have an Esthetician site which offers resources and information for other Skin Care Specialists. It includes links, information and more. In fact, I have multiple skin care sites on the web. When you love something, you can help but want to share that information! Enjoy looking through the pages, and hopefully your over 40 skincare questions will be addressed, answered and help you discover what you've been looking for. I'd like to share the information I learned while in school to help other women feel better about their skin, and if you're here, that means you!
