Anti Aging Skin Care Product

What's the best anti aging skin care product? One that works, plain and simple. What works for me, may not work for you. I know you hate that answer, but it's the truth. A woman with mature dehydrated skin needs a different product than a woman with an oily complexion. My skin type is dry, my mom has oily skin. We need different products, plain and simple.

Let's talk about what works:

First we need to classify your skin type. Before doing anything else, know what type of skin you have. So many people use the wrong products for their skin. Just because you have a breakout, doesn't make your skin oily. I have dry skin and get break outs too! In my case, it's hormones. Now, take in mind my dry skin...can you imagine the havoc I'd play on my skin using products for oily skin? I'd strip away so much moisture, it would be crazy.

KNOW YOUR SKIN TYPE!

The next thing you want to understand is are ingredients. An anti aging skin care product will have both active and non-active ingredients. Just because something is in a product, doesn't mean it's working for you how you think it is! Some ingredients are there to help deliver the other ingredients! These are called vehicles, because they're the means of getting the other ingredients to your skin. When you partner some ingredients together, they work better.

One last simple tip....read the directions. Seriously...are you using the product like it was intended?

What if your active ingredients aren't getting to your skin how they should be because you've put something else on first that blocks that process? Yikes...right? Read the directions!

So, while I may love Perfect Fit by Dermaware, it may not be one of your favorite products. Or maybe it's Dermalogica's AGE SMART that I love but you may not...though you really can't go wrong trying this set...it's fabulous.
