What's the Difference Between Skin Types and Skin Conditions?

People often confuse skin types with skin conditions. Your skin type is what you were actually born with. It's not going to change, but the condition of it may.

A skin type is classified as

oily, dry, normal or combination, and sometimes sensitive. Sensitzed skin can be listed as a both a type and condition.

A skin condition is changeable, so think of things like acne, redness, and dehydration. Your skin's condition is something that is happening to your skin, due to external or internal factors.
